King’s Day is the largest national holiday in the Netherlands, with over 200,000 attendees from around Europe. Our team at Bumble descended on Amsterdam to take part in the party — and to let the Dutch know about the best dating app.

Our campaign resulted in a surge of registrations and activity, along with news coverage. All on a shoestring budget of €5,000.

 The canals are filled with boats on King’s Day, so we took to the water with a branded Bumble boat for press, influencers, and users, 4 private boat parties, QR codes posted across 20 popular bars for discounted drinks, 30 flags and banners statione

The canals are filled with boats on King’s Day, so we took to the water with a branded Bumble boat for press, influencers, and users, 4 private boat parties, QR codes posted across 20 popular bars for discounted drinks, 30 flags and banners stationed across the canals, 500 posters around the city, and 3 Bumble cooling stations.

 Our King’s Day Bumble Boat party was featured in  VOGUE Netherlands  as the “only event to attend this King’s Day.”   Glamour Netherlands  also covered our party, calling it one of the best things to do on King’s Day.  Examples of copy:
